Editing the source code of a page
To use the Enterprise Source Editor for Confluence, simply head to any page you have edit rights to, and click on edit page. In the edit mode of the page, a new button will appear at the top right corner, next to the text search button. Click on this button to open the source editor.
If you can’t see the button, check with an administrator that you are on the list of allowed users.

This will open a source code editor in a modal. The editor in modal automatically prettifies the source code of the page on open, and you can re-prettify the code by clicking to the Prettify code button next to the editor title after you make some changes.

The source code editor, allows you to add or change code directly, such as changing html styling, or removing pesky invisible elements. You can also use the search and replace functionality to edit code in bulk. Once you are done with your changes, you can press Apply button to save your changes.

And that’s how easy it is to use Enterprise Source Editor for Confluence 🙂
