Anonymous surveys

By default, the answers of a survey are linked to the user. Therefore, it is possible to change one’s answer later one and map a response to a user in the reporting.

Sometimes, this is not wanted, e.g., for feedback. Then, you can mark a survey as anonymous.

Activate the “Anonymous Survey” Flag in the Permission Tab of the Survey Editor.

Confirm that you want to anonymize the survey. All answers that were given to this survey, will be anonymized.

The anonymization process is started once the survey is saved.

An anonymous survey cannot be de-anonymized. The process is not revertable.

Users can still only vote once. It is not possible to change an answer after submitting because the user information is now stored separately.
