Copy a survey
A survey manager can copy a survey to the same or to a different page in the edit mode of a Confluence page.
When pasting a copied survey, a dialogue will appear, asking you how to proceed:
You can display the same survey, sharing all configuration and responses, or recreate a new one based on the old, resetting all responses for the newly created one.
When a survey is being copied as a new survey, the survey managers are reset to the default ones - which means the person copying the survey is added as a survey manager. If there are default survey managers configured in the admin section, they are added to the survey managers list too. If there were other users who were managers of the copied survey they will not be added. Later, the list of survey managers can be adjusted by the survey manager who performed the copying.
When copying a survey you are copying the exact same survey again. This means that all changes made to one of these surveys is also applied to the other one. This makes it possible to have the same survey on different Confluence pages. However, sometimes this is unexpected behavior. To get a copy which is not linked to the original one, create a new survey and copy the JSON (JSON ) into the new one.
Note that using the copy JSON approach will not transfer the answers to the new Survey.
